Chapter 1 · Intro
Exosphere at a glance
A platform overview should tell learners what the platform is for before they decide whether a site question belongs there.
The situation
A service team supports several sites and wants one place to see their Loxone Miniservers and the information they expose.
What Exosphere brings together
Loxone describes Exosphere as a cloud-based platform for managing and monitoring Loxone Miniservers. Its documented overview includes centralized Miniserver management, data visualization and analysis, workspace management, and troubleshooting resources.
A team can begin with a clear question: “Which Miniserver should we review today?” Then it can use the platform view to locate the relevant installation and decide whether the next task is management, data observation, or a support investigation.
Exosphere does not replace the project brief or qualified on-site work. It organizes remote management and monitoring information so a team can make a better next decision.
- State Exosphere’s two core purposes.
- Classify a task as management, observation, or troubleshooting.
- Write one site question that a centralized view could help the team investigate.
